Meet the team – Kourtney

What does a typical day look like in your job?

I start my day by going into the office and saying good morning to everyone then I head up to my working area to see what the day will consist of. The role that I have taken on at Advance Global is sewing tech. I draw up all the designs onto the materials we use to make the thermal insulation covers. This keeps me very busy, I enjoy challenges and new tasks each day.

What are some of the highlights of your job?

A highlight in my job is a new challenge each day. I also love to see the thermal insulation assembled and fitted to machines seeing the final product completed. Another highlight is working with a great group of people who are very helpful and supportive.

Tell us a bit about yourself…

I have lived in Parkes most of my time, after a few years of living in Darwin. I’m a family-orientated person and I am a very proud mum to two beautiful kids. On the weekends in the winter season, we all play hockey and in the other seasons enjoy fun activities out in the sun.
