Meet the Team – Brittney

What does a typical day look like in your job?

I start the day by checking and replying to my emails. I then try to rack my brain about what to mention for marketing in the daily team meeting, gotta sound busy, lol! I am constantly trying to come up with new ideas to market our products and think of fun ways to get our customers interested and involved. I spend a lot of time creating our monthly newsletter (searching for funny gifs!) and updating our mail-out system. I also help our brilliant website development team with growing our online presence and keeping our website updated and relevant. Creating and updating our product catalogues for RoadBase, MineBase and FarmBase also keeps me very busy. I am also the lady behind the lens for all our product photos and videos, I have such a passion for this part of the job!

What are some highlights of your job?

Creating and designing mailouts and marketing material is my dream job! Being creative keeps my brain active and very happy. The team at Advance is probably the biggest highlight though! The vibe is professional but professional frivol! Everyone fits in so well and the constant dad jokes keep the HAW HAWS happening. Did I mention that I absolutely love my job as well?

Tell us a bit about yourself!

I was born in New Zealand and have recently moved to Australia to live with my husband. I love, love love to travel! Finding hidden gems is my favourite thing to do whilst on holiday. I am also a huge dog fan, well any animals really but mainly dogs! I love living in Parkes with the country lifestyle (massive fan of the dusty Utes, cowboy hats, and boots!). Also, when is Australia going to introduce the Chicken Parmi to the rest of the world? So so good!
