The Pilot Vehicle Sign process

From start to finish we hand-built all our Pilot Vehicle Signs here in Parkes, NSW.
This is the process:

• Cut the steel lengths to the correct size and angles plus laser cut and fold the remaining steel components.
• Weld the frames together.
• Sandblast and powder coat the frame and all bracketry. We outsource this part of the job to a local sandblasting workshop in Parkes.
• Create wiring looms and wire up any lights, control boxes and actuators ready to plug straight into an Anderson plug in your vehicle.
• Program the controller if installed.
• Print the sign for the frame. This is done with our new printing system in Parkes as well.
• Fix the aluminium sign to the frame.
• Test all lights and functions of the sign before packing up to send.
