What does a typical day look like in your job?

My role at Advance is helping with the assembling of our thermal insulation blankets (Lagging). This includes drawing out the different designs for each machine, attaching studs and plates and assembling them on our sewing machine, ready to be installed for our valued customers.

What are some of the highlights of your job?

Seeing the result of the different Lagging jobs we create is a great sense of accomplishment and satisfaction. We all pull together as a team, encouraging and motivating each other every day, professionally and in our personal lives. I’m very blessed to be part of such a great business and team.

Tell us a bit about yourself.

I moved to Parkes from the Sunshine Coast in Queensland to be closer to my family. I am currently studying nutrition which is a massive passion of mine. I also work as a massage therapist at yoga health retreats combining acupressure with a massage.
