What does a typical day look like in your job? In the morning I greet the team then join the 9:15 Team Meeting. You will then find me drinking my coffee and settling into a busy day of work! My role in general at Advance is reviewing accounts. I check orders received and also enter the bills for goods received plus allocate goods to orders. I also spend time checking and replying to my emails and helping customers with enquiries.
What are some of the highlights of your job? Some of the highlights would be the friendly atmosphere from the team at Advance. The staff are very caring and a pleasure to work with! I find the products very interesting to work with and I enjoy the interactions with our brilliant clients.
Tell us a bit about yourself…I started Advance in Parkes in 2002 after successfully selling my business in Katoomba. We lived in the Blue Mountains for 32 years before moving to Parkes, we have lived here for 19 years now! We really enjoy the town. Family is very important to me, I have 4 girls and 2 boys. They are all married and have families of their own now too.
