Meet the team – Beth

What does a typical day look like in your job?

I work as a sewing technician making the MineBase Thermal Insulation Blankets. While I primarily sew, it is very much a team effort with a lot of people supporting the work that I do.
Depending on the workload, the department is versatile enough that I find myself chopping and changing into different areas throughout the day, lending a hand wherever it’s needed.

What are some highlights of your job?

I work with a great, close-knit team, and I love being a part of the Australian Made industry which is something I’m passionate about.
Even though I’m just one part of the process, I also get to watch our Thermal Insulation Blankets go through to their final stage of being fitted on machinery, and it’s very satisfying to see my work out there in the real world.

could you tell us a bit about yourself?

I have many hobbies which keep me busy in my downtime, I’m very a creative person and I’m always on the lookout to learn a new craft or skill.
