What does a typical day look like in your job?

I typically start my day at 7:30. For the first half-hour, I prepare for the rest of the day. Our machines need daily maintenance each morning to produce our best products.

Throughout the day I consistently check the signage and make sure our products are up to standard as well as quality check to make sure our customers get good quality signs.

At the end of each day, I’m responsible for preparing for the next day and making sure the signage room is clean, the machines have been shut down and everything is set up for the next day.

What are some highlights of your job?

With being responsible for the manufacturing of these signs, I am also responsible for creating artwork which is very exciting and enjoyable.

I love the artwork requests we receive from customers because each time is something new and interesting. Another highlight I have from my job is the people I get to work with each day.

I enjoy coming to work and being surrounded by hard-working and dedicated coworkers who I couldn’t be happier with.

Could you tell us a bit about yourself?

I was born here in Parkes where I’ve lived my whole life. I typically revolve my life around work. If I’m not at work with the advance team, I’m at work as a bartender at one of the local restaurant bars.

I enjoy my time making cocktails and meeting some interesting people. On the occasions I’m not at work, I like to spend my time with my family, catching up with friends or looking after my animals.
