Meet the Team – Nivin

What does a typical day look like in your job?

I start the day off by cutting out the materials for Lagging. Lagging is Thermal Insulation Blankets that reduce surface temperatures. I enjoy bantering with the other warehouse staff; we have a lot of in-house jokes. I also lend a hand in packing orders and arranging/tidying up the warehouse.

What are some of the highlights of your job?

Highlights of my job would definitely be completing orders on time. I enjoy learning different things such as fitting out Lagging on the equipment and going onsite and meeting our customers.

Tell us a bit about yourself!

I was born in Sri Lanka and came to Australia in 2012 and recently moved to Parkes with my wife. I admire the Australian culture and the beautiful places! My favorite game is Kabaddi; it is an Indian National Game that is similar to dodgeball/rugby (without the ball!). I enjoy exercising, playing sports and have an interest in cars. My favorite car is a Subaru WRX STI.
